Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Stand Up Paddle Boarding

We offer a SUP (Stand Up Paddle) school on the Knysna Lagoon, on Leisure isle. Beginners can learn the art of Stand-up paddle boarding in a protected shallow environment with Tony as your instructor, always on hand. As you progress we will take you for a lagoon tour, and weather permitting we will venture into the famous Knysna Heads. We also do SUP tours up the Knysna River at the Old Drift , where the paddler can experience true flat water river touring. The views, birdlife, and conditions in general are awesome for the whole family.

For the more experienced core paddler, Tony will take you on an unforgettable surfing experience right into the famous Knysna Heads, at Coffin Bay. This is for experienced board riders only, and is only available at Spring Low tide.

For the novice paddler/board rider wanting to venture into the surf we have the perfect beach. Tony will meet you at the beach and accompany you into the surf for your first session in the waves. Tony will ensure you get into the right spot for take-off , and most importantly teach you the unwritten laws of surf etiquette!! Where and when to take off, which wave to choose, and how to respect the locals is undoubtedly the most important lesson you can learn here. Your instructor is an experienced waterman with countless hours of surf experience and time in the water at Buffalo Bay, you are guaranteed a safe first time introduction into the art of wave riding.

We supply all equipment, including boards, paddles and wetsuits. We are also agents for Naish and F.One Stand Up Paddle boards and Mystic accessories. Contact us anytime for a quote, demo, hire, or to purchase a board!!
